National Aquaculture Group (NAQUA) is one of the largest aquaculture operations of its type in the world. Offering products grown in farms strategically located by the coast of the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, 180 kilometers south of the historic port of Jeddah, close to the town of Al Leith. 

Using environmentally sensitive production methods designed to preserve the pristine natural environment and NAQUA has created one of the world’s largest fully integrated marine farms employing more than 2,500 people from 32 different nations and with an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes that is enjoyed by customers all over the world.

Started by an engineer in the 1970’s with a passion for marine products, when he was traveling in the Philippines to recruit some personnel for civil engineering projects in Saudi Arabia, he visited a shrimp farm and he was inspired to try this in his homeland. His enthusiasm encouraged the Philippine's Bio-Resources International Incorporation to start two projects: a tilapia red sea fish farm in the Qassim Region and a shrimp farming project on the Red Sea coast. From this point, the company has grown to where it is today as one of the most advanced, fully integrated, multi-functional marine aquaculture farms in the world.
